Ode to the Doctors
at GCVS |
When we
first met
It was
a challenge to get
You to
believe in your skill
To
heal an old dog so ill.
“He’s
a survivor”, they claimed.
My
owners begged… they weren’t ashamed.
“Please!!” they began to shout.
But
still you had some doubt.
"He’s
too old…” I heard you say,But by
the end of the day,
You
took on my case,With
no time to waste.
Your
skills were put to the test,
We
knew you’d do your best.
Your
steadfast hands worked on me,
And
healed me from my misery.
No one
else would take the risk,
No one
but you, GCVS.
We
broke the odds and showed them all,
With
skill
&
will, we now stand tall!
If I
could talk, here’s what I’d say:
You
are a healer in everyway,
To
your work you’ve been true
Of
your courage, there’s only a few.
Now
this old dog can do a new trick,
‘cause
he is no longer sick.
So
Thank You from family and me,
For
keeping us together as a true family.
